The Film Club goes to Paris

After a trip to Paris, where the boys: travelled under the English Channel at high speeds, navigated the Paris Metro with aplomb, played football amongst the neighbourhood streets, visited Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and countless other attractions, ate escargot and Confit du Carnard in a Parisian restaurant – ordering for themselves with waiting staff who were deaf to the English language, slept overnight, visited an exhibition of the work of Tim Burton, presented the short film they’d made to an assembled audience from all over Europe, the Caribbean and South America, watched films from those same places, ordered takeaways and ran for the train home… we can now officially call the London Nautical Film Club a tremendous success.

Canteen Entry Scene

(We are following the good group for now)

The group slowly roams across the school eventually ending up in the malone hall (where the canteen is).

Simon: Hey look the canteen, lets eat.

Larry: Remember to keep some for later.

John: Good thinking.

The boys examine and search for all the food they can find. The boys start to pick out and eat a little bit of the fruit (saving most for later)

Larry: Lets load all the food for later onto the trollies before the others get here and take it for themselves.

John: Dont worry they are probably pre-ocupied in the gym working out or something.

The boys start to load tins of food and fruit onto the trollies and go to the class room they are based in. They come back only to see the bad group searching through the last bits of food that they were going back for.

Steve; oh look who it is, if it aint larry and john.

Zack: Larry and john, sitting in a tree

John: shut up

All of the bad group starts to laugh and tease them.

Simon: Let them have the bits of food left we have the majority of the food anyway HA!!

The good group run away in panic.

Aatif’s Ending

We would have to start filming the real life at around 8.20am. Thats when evreyone starts to enter the schooland the playground gets packed. The main entrances are:

The Front Gate
The back entrance
the main door entrance

Pupils normally come into school through the front gate and the back entrance, whereas teachers come in through the main door entrance. At the start of school pupils commanly play football , play Nine square, eat breakfast in the malone hall and get ready to head off for swimming at 8.30 am.

We could have many shots of the reality doing these activities and teachers entering the school by the main door entrance.

The bad group could be in the malone hall sitting on chairs startled, as if they just woke up from the sound of the normal school morning, and the good group could be at the main door entrance waiting for a teacher to open it. Then the day could start as a normal school day, and the boys have no choice but to start the day.

Staff room scene

Staff room scene.

scene set:

The “bad” group all roughly enter the staff room and begin going through all the pigeon holes.

Steve, Zack, Ryan, sean.

Steve: Hey look, were only here to find our phones to get outa here.

(looking around the room hopefully.)

Ryan: Forget that, look at this computer. Its already logged in. I’m gonna to check out the emails.

(Running over to the computers and clicking quickly)

Zack: yeah there may be some saucy stuff on this stupid ting.

Ryan: Look there are love letters on here as well.

Zack: Ooh look miss Lawrence posted a comment on Mr Kermit’s Facebook page.

Sean: It says (in high pitched voice) ” Will you go out with me to dinner”.

Ryan: (in a low posh voice) “of course darling, meet me at the school at 5”.

(they all look at the clock, they notice it is 10 past 5 and that they have missed there chance to escape)

Sean: we have missed our chance now if only we found this earlier.

Zack: (trying to act strong.) Don’t be silly, someone will be here soon, won’t they?

First Scene by Ed

Film club script

First scene

We see little p.o.v of a teacher shots looking into classrooms and a couple of tracking foot shots. All of this leads up to the detention room where we hear the pips go. The teacher gets the room ready for a detention. He picks up a box and gets ready to collect phones. We see pupils starting to arrive there are little speed up between each pupil putting their phone in the box. Then when everyone has arrived

Teacher: Is that everyone

Most of the pupils murmur yes

Teacher: Ok then I’m going to take these phones to my office

Pupil 1: sir. Are you allowed to do that?

Teacher: yes. It’s…its part of our new authority. (Saying this unsure)

Pupil 1: oh

We then see the door shut and a close up shot on a key locking the door for the detention room. We now see the time go by. We start to see chunks of the book (lord of the flies) get read by the boy at the back.Andthen the students realise sir has no came back.

Pupil 3: Is it me or has sir been away for a while.

Pupil 2: he’s properly lodged us.

Pupil 1: I’m going to see where he is.

Pupil then walks to the door and finds it is locked.

Pupil 1: it’s locked

Pupil 3: let me try

Pupil 3 tries to open the door but instead fails.

Pupil 1: told you

Then a pupil from the back of the classroom and gets up and knocks the door down.

Pupil 3: Oh that was easy

Pupil 4: let’s get out of this place

Everyone starts to gather their bags and head out the door. Shot changes and we see the pupils walk into darkness. We then see a growing amount of light from pupil’s phones.

Pupil 7: why are the lights not on?

Pupil 6: don’t worry about that. Where is the switch to them?

Pupil 8: here it is

Lights then light up. And pupil 4 runs up the stairs looking for Nina (receptionist)

Pupil 2: that was easy

Pupil 3: are we in school by alone.

Pupil 1: I think so

Pupil 4 is walking back down the stairs

Pupil 4: Nina’s not there.

Pupil 5: so we have the school to are self’s

First Scene

(The caretaker turns off the main lights and leaves the building)They are left in the room all startled as they see the lights all turn off. a boy who is to busy reading a book called lord of the flies shouts out “what happened to the lights” another boy who is popular says I’m going out to check it out and everyone follows “hello is anyone there” no repliy. Don’t tell me were in school alone. one boy says. another boy says Man thats creepy. the popular boy says don’t be such a wimp! he shoves him out the way and goes downstairs into the darkness. the rest of the boys follow him. they reach the malone hall and one of the boys shout hey, if were in school alone, than there is food in the canteen. he runs of to the canteen and 7 or 8 follow. the rest of the boys stay and watch them as they run off. There so greedy! one says. They go off to the main entrance. dam, its locked! one boy shouts in anger. why don’t we split up and check all the other entrances in the school including the fire exits.
